Libra New Moon - Horoscopes - 10th Oct

The new moon on the 10th October is in our Venus ruled sign libra, which just so happens to be my sun sign, so I’m particularly and love this season for my solar return! 

Although this sign carries with it the fun flirtatious way of socialising, Venus, our ruler over this moon, does happen to be retrograde in our deeper darker sign of Scorpio. This isn’t to mean all our love, creativity, fun and financial investments aren’t going anywhere at all, but if they are, they are going with more power of thought, and understanding of the underworld. Bringing us closer with our contemplation, giving us time to discover the depth of our connection to these Venusian themes. 

Full moons are usually for finding the balance, and new moons more towards manifesting results, but in Libra the sign of the scales, weighing up options and opinions, and caring to wonder what lies on the other side of your tunnel towards the lights, means noticing the balancing is an act required over a new moon in this sign.

News and insights are likely to appear, and just as the retrograde is here, you're feelings towards accepting or changing, that would usually sing through here, might not feel so familiar. Perhaps some unworthiness, or being scared you're not prepared, are emotions that arise throughout this time. (the retrograde taking place from 03 oct to 14 nov in scorpio to libra)

Time being just that, everlasting. You don't have to make your choices right away if they do come through, in conversations, calls, messages, or even epiphanies, of your own soul, but trusting that is just as true and can give you enough to break through, and make waves to change.

This Libra new moon is in your place of loving, well partly, it’s the place that rules all others, so some of them may be of significance in a more sensual way, but this can pertain to family, friends, and your hardly even acquaintances, the 7th house. But love is still a theme, how we treat others how we wish to be treated. Libra is for balancing the scales and yours may lie with news and insights, maybe coming as a surprise, or more like a Chinese whisper, something you have said returning home, through the grapevine. As for your own manifestations at this time, are you awaiting your knight in shining armour to make your sight, or take a step further with you, keeping the sparks your love deserves alive. however you could be the one to step away from self, an over riding aspect of your fiery sign, and lend your hand to someone in need, or be the one bringing the insights.

Taurus 

Libra where we have this new moon occupies the 6th house in your chart. The place of the everyday, habits, hobbies, lifestyle, work and health. And with the Venus retrograde in your 7th, of all others, maybe the manifestation over this new moon lies within the making or arranging of time to be spending as a social butterfly, and time to rest your wings, as we know your side of Venus is indulgence and lazing, something some of the other signs could adopt more of, coming from a fellow Venus babe I know, but true nonetheless! A retrograde here with the spark of a new moon, could regards the setting of your intentions towards when to make the efforts, of service to yourself and others. You could be thinking about taking up new fitness or other practices of interest, or maybe you will be asked to spend more time at work or diversify within your work life.

Gemini 

The new moon for you is in your 5th, where the sign of Libra sits. This is a really fun place for this flirtatious and Venus ruled vibe to occupy and in a trine to your rising! But we must remember, you're not alone with Uranus taking a stop here at your home, which tends to bring the impact of his electrical being exactly there, a lightening bolt leading right back to you. But like I said, the 5th is filled with the freedom feels, and with a retrograde in your 6th, maybe its time to step away from the work and routines, just for a minute, and set are manifestations towards just that, What makes you feel free? Whats fun for you? An essence of creativity comes through too. Things for you could feel more serious if children are in the mix, so with that allow Venus to remind you of what mother is, her for you, let your inner child shine through. Leo 

This air sign new moon in Libra in in your 3rd house, a place familiar with the airs social scene, the house of community, close friends and siblings, earlier stages of learning, short distance travel and adaptability. And for you Leos, with Mars and Jupiter transiting your rising, in a sextile to this new moon, and a square to the retrograde, theres some tension, but nothing your courageous attitude cant protrude through. I'd face up to any things, that seem slightly of un ease to you, while they are in the early stages, and allow the retrograde to fix things back in place, say if you are struggling with an essay, and need guidance from a tutor or friend, just speak up. Libra 

It’s your new moon our Venus lead Libras, and it’s taking place right on you, mind body and soul. The 1st house relates to our appearance and impressions. Which of course relates to others and their view and opinion of you more than your ego, as we know you suffer from a case the people pleasing. But not this season while the sun is in your sign, make the most of your magical moon and take advantage of your connection to Venus, thus your connection to you, who you are, and what you desire. but we must also think about what you deserve, you can take a little of what your worth from the universe, especially if the retrograde of your ruler, taking place in your 2nd, the house of ethics and values, and health and work, is having you feel a little torn apart from receiving from the efforts you project, then sometimes you just have to do it yourself!

Scorpio 

A new moon, a time of darkness, and for you in your place of most darkness, the 12th house. But also for you, a time of dreams and lunar intuition, weaving through premonitions and illusions. Not so much a dark place, but more a place of the darkness, and in that, a whole lot of power. Something you hold inherently. So place this power where it can best project, to the spirits, in your sleep, or through exactly that, an astral kind of projection. There might be a message awaiting your visit. but if this does come naturally to you, the retrograde of this new moons ruler Venus, in your 1st, you could be feeling slightly detached from your abilities and maybe thats whats come to light and needs nurturing through this time. While the retrograde takes place you could discover even more ways to connect. But then again, this could all be about you setting a new sleep schedule or something like that too.

Sagittarius

This is a new moon in your 11th house, the place Libra occupies in your chart, and a good place for manifesting since is rules over goals and aspirations as well as friendships and networks of people, technology and the future. Messages certainly could be coming through, and they could relate to your dreams and desires, but with the retrograde of Venus taking place in your 12th house, the place of illusions and delusions, I wouldn't act too fast on your closing in, proceed with caution, and trust your internal voice, the one from behind the veil, as it gets thinner and the retrograde ends, all will make more sense. So keep your options open, as thats what this place can represent, alike the star card of the tarot deck, not every shining star is the one meant on your path. Capricorn 

A new moon in your 10th house, a place you know well since your sign naturally resides up here, but as a sea goat rising, we have Libra taking care up here in your 10th, the place of public image and career, so like marital status and what you’re associated with doing. A new moon here could open the door to more opportunities within these realms. But with the ruler Venus retrograde in your 11th this could be giving you the time to reassess the options and if they are just available to you or if you desire to grab on and create a new reality. however there is the chance that options could be falling through or groups and friendships not being as available as they have been or they should. but that doesn't mean your milestone cant be towards progression and connections building in your career, or 10th house sphere.

Aquarius 

A new moon in your 9th house, a place fit for the expansion of manifestations especially in the social sign of Libra. This place relates to travel, places far away, or different to comprehend, either of the physical plains or the corners of your brain. Happening in a trine to you and your ruler Uranus in Gemini, creates a grand air trine, a truly harmonic aspect ushering in an airy logic and thoughtful processing, even if Venus is retrograde. Which is happening in your 10th house, the place regarding your public image marital status and career. Tying these themes together perhaps even identifying within a faith or a construct. This new moon will be likely to have you changing your perspective or expanding your horizons

Pisces 

This Libra new moon, in your 8th house, is a bit of a harder one to manage, as this is the place that holds all thing a little intimate and taboo, but also your resources and finances that are shared, like joint accounts, business partners and taxes, again, in my belief, a little taboo. But you could be manifesting in alignment with these themes and what you and working together with another can bring, but its not always an equal partnership, and if there is distance, you might want to reassess your efforts or thoughts towards how the trajectory looks with the current circumstance and what can be done. With the retrograde of our ruler over the new moon, Venus, in your 9th house, of places far from home, and cultures different from your own, something seems a little like unfamiliar territory, so take time on it don't give into pressure, take it easy
